BookSense reads text and Braille files; TXT, RTF, DOC, DOCX, HTML/XML, SML, BRL, BRF, Bookshare Braille files.

It can play various types of audio files; MP3, MP4, WAV, WMA, WMV, OGG, ASF, FLAC, 3GP, Audible audio(.aa, .aax).
Play Daisy content
Daisy is a web-based book format which includes both text and audio. It contains the information of chapters, sections, paragraphs, pages, and percent, you can move easily where you want.
BookSense can move to certain location moving by chapters, sections, paragraphs, pages, and percent contained in Daisy files. It helps your effective reading.
It supports all types of DAISY formats; DAISY 2.0/2.02, ANSI/NISO Z39.86(DAISY 3.0), NIMAS1.1, NLS, RFB&D, Bookshare.org

BookSense XT allows you to use a stereo Bluetooth headset. Also enables to transfer data files from PC with Bluetooth to BookSense XT using FTP service.
Recording
BookSense provides high quality microphone to record anything from anywhere. Recordings are made in either MP3 or WAV format. It also has a 3.5mm microphone socket enabling you to use an external microphone, external audio sources via line-in and FM radio
