Membership and affiliates
The membership of the Asian Blind Union consists of various national organizations of/for the blind from 21 countries. In all, 26 national level organizations are the members of ABU. Number of deligates to be nominated to Asian Blind Union by each country is determined by its population. The Principles governing the number of deligates from each country are clearly set forth in the ABU constitution. In the case of countries having more than one ABU affiliates, the number of deligates representing that particular country is shared among all the member affiliates from that country.
